Krystal Allan joined the News 3 Team in March 2011. She’s a familiar face on the anchor desk for News 3 and the CW. Krystal loves highlighting community heroes impacting the lives of children through her special reports, “Teacher of the Month” and “Superhero Thursday."
Krystal is passionate about organizations championing children and education. She is a board member for Communities in Schools Nevada, the nation’s leading dropout prevention program. In addition, she loves reading, volunteering and mentoring children at local schools. Krystal also adopts a local classroom each year.
Krystal has been nominated for multiple Emmys and is an Edward R. Murrow recipient. She’s a “Top 40 Under 40” awardee, a “Top 100 Woman of Las Vegas” and a “Women of Distinction” through the National Association of Women Business Owners – Southern Nevada Chapter.
Born and raised in the Midwest, she's blessed to use her speaking gifts to serve the Las Vegas community. Like a true Midwest girl, "hard work and humility" is the motto that guides her each day.
